‘Tis true: we’ve rebranded! After almost 4 years of touting around one cute little yellow chandelier, we’ve officially traded it in for a look that we feel authentically captures who we are as a company and what it is we are passionate about doing: milestone events that are stylish yet timeless, and understated yet highly memorable and creative. Stay tuned for more about this, as well as the launch of our new website, a ton of really exciting press, and a bunch of mind-blowing weddings that are so special, they are guaranteed to make your hearts skip a beat. Thank you SO much for your support. We can’t wait to share what is next for VLD with you! (promo photo cred: the always-fab Abby Rose Photo)
Ashley & Kevin are getting married this morning with a brunch reception to follow at The Polo Fields Golf & Country Clubs. With flower-filled vintage birdcages, a teeeeny bit of a maize and blue theme, and a team consisting of (among others) VLD, Passionflower, Sweet Heather Anne and Silver Thumb Photography, this celebration of marriage is going to be off to one adorable start! Congratulations to Ashley & Kevin!

The always fabulous Jill Devries posted these images from our mutual client’s e-sesh. Gorgeous lighting, a perfect kind of love - what else more to say?
Saipua’s flowering cherry blossom installation (yes it’s real) at Zara’s storefront in NYC.
That is all.
Check out these illustrated prints from Amy Borrell. Quite the adorable reminder on how to set and what to stock for those fab at-home parties you’re all planning to throw this spring.
I’ve been pulling together lots of color palettes lately for clients, which has lead me to do quite a bit of researching on what combos are hot for 2012. Tangerine is definitely on the tip of everyone’s tongue lately - which makes sense since it’s Pantone’s color of the year and all. This a really great color for an event and will definitely make a fresh and modern statement both by itself and when paired with other colors like turquoise, mint or grey.
