The always fabulous Jill Devries posted these images from our mutual client’s e-sesh. Gorgeous lighting, a perfect kind of love - what else more to say?
Saipua’s flowering cherry blossom installation (yes it’s real) at Zara’s storefront in NYC.
That is all.
Check out these illustrated prints from Amy Borrell. Quite the adorable reminder on how to set and what to stock for those fab at-home parties you’re all planning to throw this spring.
I’ve been pulling together lots of color palettes lately for clients, which has lead me to do quite a bit of researching on what combos are hot for 2012. Tangerine is definitely on the tip of everyone’s tongue lately - which makes sense since it’s Pantone’s color of the year and all. This a really great color for an event and will definitely make a fresh and modern statement both by itself and when paired with other colors like turquoise, mint or grey.
Chapel in a tree, anyone? We were on the hunt for venues and we stumbled on this magical place. Yeah, so it’s in France, but whatever! Talk about amazing!
Lisa & Danny’s wedding is up! Thanks to Two Penny for a beautiful video!

One of the biggest trends we’re seeing this year has got to be the hand-crafted cocktail. Yeah, so it’s definitely been a standard in the food & beverage industry for awhile, but we’re also seeing it move toward the event industry as well - and honestly, we’re so happy for it! The fact of the matter is a full bar has grown to be rather expected at an event, and although it’s nice to have, it can feel a little blasé with a capital b. Spice it up, my friends! It’s a shame not to play around with this area as it can definitely be an opportunity to make a memorable impression…
check out some more photos from the wedding party this past january, courtesy of abby rose photo. we designed and styled the entire thing from floor to ceiling. it was a very successful, sold out event and we’re looking forward to working with all the brides and grooms we met as a result!
oh and by the way, we finally have a few weeks of “slow season”, so you know what that means! stay tuned for lots more entries about our events this past season…
We just got the photos back from Melissa and Jerry’s wedding last June. We had a wonderful time working on this wedding. There were lots of great details and everything you see in the print material dept. was custom designed for their big day. Thanks to Grant Isaac Studio for these adorable images!
OBSESSED with this huge stand-up paper flower. Oh, and thanks to Design Sponge, a DIY tutorial is here. Can you imagine a bunch of these spread out across a lawn? A lotta work? Yes. Kinda the best idea ever? Absolutely.
